Eating Disorders and Self-Injury Conference

If you work with teens and young adults struggling with disordered eating, self-injury or co-occurring conditions, you see clients at their most vulnerable. With high associated suicide risk, the stakes are incredibly high. This one-day conference will explore best practices for assessing and evaluating eating disorders and self-injury in order to develop effective treatment plans. Merging the latest research with extensive clinical experience, presenters will offer insights, tools and treatment options that are both practical and effective.

Psychologists, counselors, social workers, educators, therapists and health care professionals. Topics will be applicable for those working in primary care, human services, schools and community clinics.

Friday’s Keynote speaker is “Dr. Mara Sapon-Shevin” speaking on Inclusive Education and Saturday the “Teddy Bear Band” will be sharing songs that motivate positive behaviors in children.
