National Night Out

Lunda Community Park, Black River Falls, WI
National Night Out is a nationwide event designed to build strong community partnerships that promote safe neighborhoods. The event is organized through Criminal Justice Program at Western Technical College and is sponsored by the Ho-Chunk Nation and Jackson County Sheriff's Office. We will be having lots of activities for the kids, K9 demonstrations, Internet Safety presentation and Mock Crash demonstrations, we will also be selling brats, hot dogs, corn on the cob etc., and we will be collecting non-perishible foods to donate to the local food pantry.

Bubble Wonders

Audiences watch spellbound as Geoff Akins does the most amazing things with ordinary soap and water. Bubble Wonders is full of amazing bubble tricks including the bubble caterpillar, vocano bubble, gigantic dancing bubble, bubbles inside bubbles, kid in a bubble, and much more! Woven into the show is the show's theme: "Anything is possible!" During the course of the show there's a running gag where Geoff and the audience try to create a square bubble! He fails time and time again and yet never gives up. Yet through persistence and learning from mistakes, Geoff discovers a way to successfully create a sqaure bubble! Farm-City Day is an educational, interactive one-day event on a working farm. This event is aimed to educate our community on where and how our food is produced, showing how agriculture has evolved and progressed over the last 50 years. Guided tours of the farm will be provided from the parking area and attendees will then be dropped off to view agriculture educational displays and demonstrations, participate in kid’s activities or visit the petting zoo. Food will be available for purchase from the local 4-H club and there will be many other special attractions at the event. Admission is free to this one-day event for the entire family.

The Good News Power Hour Show!

Summer Fest and Family Night in the Park

S. Barstow St., Phoenix Park, Wilson Park, Eau Claire, WI
This community festival attracts thousands of visitors of all ages for a variety of activities including children's games, stage performances, and downtown merchants selling goods outside their businesses. Kids have fun in the Family Fun Zone, that's complete with a crazy hair event, a petting zoo, and pony rides. Volume One will also be hosting Chalkfest that takes place in Wilson Park. Dozens of artists create chalk art masterpieces on the park sidewalks. The Summer Fest celebration ends with Family Night in the Park. Families come to Phoenix Park to enjoy a movie under the stars. This year the movie will be Despicable Me 2!

Friday Stunt Show (Family Friendly Event)

This is a free and family friendly event hosted by the Midwest Mayhem Motorcycle Club and the Wesleyan Church here in Eau Claire, WI.
