A Helping Hand for Mady

Brickhouse 2233 Birch Street Eau Claire, WI
Fundraising benefit for Madelyn Odegard. Madelyn is a fun loving six year old that loves her 2 younger sisters, dancing, horses and getting rowdy with her uncles and cousins! On June 23rd of this year she was playing T-ball and loving life; then on Tuesday June 24th learned she has cancer. Mady was diagnosed with Stage IV Wilms Disease, a rare form of cancer found in children. Only approximately 500 cases are diagnosed each year. Her preliminary treatment plan includes intense chemo and radiation therapy along with kidney removal. The funds raised will benefit the Odegard’s in hopes to offset some of the financial weight of this situation. Events at the fundraiser will include a Silent Auction, multiple raffles of cash, merchandise and gift certificates, and will also include a spaghetti dinner.
