Interested in being involved with Neighborhood Watch in Altoona? Join us for an informational meeting on Thursday, May 15 at 7 pm at the Emergency Services building in Altoona. Learn about Neighborhood Watch, share your ideas for starting a program in our community, and get information about what it means to be a Neighborhood Watch Captain. Refreshments will be provided. The community is invited to participate in a community conversation that will help shape the future of education in the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District. The purpose of this event is to actively engage our community to develop a clear, shared strategic vision that will address the evolving needs of our students for a changing tomorrow. This will be a gathering of community members, parents, students, teachers, business leaders,
government officials and others. During this three-day event, we will explore and analyze the past, present, and future of our
school district. Your thoughts and ideas will guide the future direction of the Chippewa Falls
Area Unified School District. The time will be filled with activities designed to get your input and will also include some entertainment highlighting the talents of our students.

Norskedalen Annual Meeting of the Membership

Norskedalen Nature & Heritage Center will hold its Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 26th, 2014, at 1:30pm. Members in the Friends of Norskedalen are invited and encouraged to attend. Members may submit their ballots on the day of the meeting for the election of the Board of Directors, or by mail prior to the meeting.

The meeting will include a recap of the previous year, Committee Reports, the Treasurer’s Report, and the election of the new and continuing members of the Board of Directors.
