Big Bird Day with the Citizen Science Center

Beaver Creek Reserve Fall Creek
Last year the Citizen Science Center documented 68 bird species on their inaugural Big Bird Day. This year they will attempt to top their 2014 species total. Think they can do it? Want to one of a few people tag along? In the morning, we will bird the Beaver Creek Reserve property and in the afternoon we will bird the Henke Farm property. Pre-registration is required as there is only space for 4 lucky participants for each time slot. Bring binoculars, field guide, lunch and snacks, water and clothing appropriate for the weather. Sightings will be used to update the Reserve’s species list and to document species of special concern if encountered.
Registration and payment required by May 25.

Hikers should expect about a mile long hike with uneven terrain and stairs to negotiate. This program is targeted for adult nature lovers 55 and older.
