Schlitz Happened! An Old Milwaukee Blast from the Pabst" with Comedian Dobie MaxwellSchlitz Happened! An Old Milwaukee Blast from the Pabst" with Comedian Dobie Maxwell

Heyde Center For the Arts, 3 S High St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729
Nationally touring stand-up comedy headliner and Wisconsin native Dobie Maxwell has lived a fascinating life. From being born to motorcycle gang parents and raised by his paternal grandparents to having to testify in federal court against his childhood best friend for robbing a bank—twice—and trying to blame one of the robberies on him, Dobie has more than taken his lumps. Somehow, he manages to keep his sense of humor about it all. “Schlitz Happened! An Old Milwaukee Blatz from the Pabst” is, in part, Dobie′s life story, but also a look back at a time before 9/11 and computers when life seemed a whole lot simpler. You′ll laugh, you might cry, and you′ll be thoroughly entertained.

Admission: Adults $13, Seniors $12, Youth $10
