A couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids, probably the most inventively awful kids in history! You won't believe the mayhem, and the fun, when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on! Hilarious fun for the whole family, including Grandma and Grandpa!

ECCT Presents: "A Laura Ingalls Wilder Christmas"

The Eau Claire Children’s Theatre will present A LAURA INGALLS WILDER CHRISTMAS December 5-7 and 12-13, at The Oxford, 1814 Oxford Avenue in downtown Eau Claire.
This original play presents the poignant story of the “missing” two years in the life of the Ingalls family—the only substantial period that Laura chose not to write about in her Little House books. Told with period songs and humor, A Laura Ingalls Wilder Christmas celebrates the importance of family bonds.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, December 6 & 12 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, December 6 & 13 at 11:00 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.; and Sunday, December 7 at 1:30 p.m. Reserved seating tickets are $12 for adults/seniors and $8 for youth/students.

With many new twists and a pinch of fine-tuning, “A Department Store Christmas” promises a performance filled with comedic hilarity and Christmas music to re-light your holiday spirits. It’s a show worth seeing for the first AND second time!

Tickets are $15 each and go on sale Nov. 10, 2014. The box office is located at 1009 S. An award winning songwriter based in the Boston area, Meg Hutchinson's lyric-based folk-pop has been artfully documenting the human condition for eighteen years. Her awards include winning the New Folk competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival in 2000 with music that is described "as powerful as it is gentle." ECCT Presents "Disney's The Aristocats Kids"

Children participating in the Eau Claire Children’s Theatre’s Celebrate Summer with a Show class will present DISNEY’S THE ARISTOCATS KIDS on Thursday, June 21, and Friday, June 22, at The Oxford, 1814 Oxford Avenue, Eau Claire.

DISNEY’S ARISTOCATS KIDS is a musical is based on the classic Disney movie. When Madame’s jealous butler Edgar cat-naps Duchess and her kittens and abandons them in the Parisian countryside, what’s a cat to do? Luckily, Thomas O’Malley and his rag-tag bunch of Alley Cats come to their rescue.

Five performances are planned. On Thursday, June 21, shows are scheduled at 10:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. On Friday, two performances are planned for 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

General admission tickets are $5.00 each and will be available at the door.

The show is the first of three “By Kids, For Kids” productions scheduled this summer. The other shows planned are THE JUST SO STORIES on July 19-20 and HEE HAW HAYRIDE on August 4.
