Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure

The game is afoot! Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure will entertain audiences February 12th, 13th,14th, and 19th, 20th, and 21st at 7:30 p.m. and February 15th and 22nd at 1:30 p.m. at The Grand Theatre, 102 W. Grand Ave., Eau Claire. The Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild is proud to present the world’s greatest detective in this thrilling story based on the original 1899 play and adapted by Steven Dietz.

With trusted companion, Doctor Watson, at his side, Sherlock Holmes once again faces a world of blackmail, intrigue and danger as he confronts two of his most deadly adversaries: arch adversary Professor James Moriarty and the love of a mysterious woman. Poisons, pistols, and amazing predicaments may be nothing compared to this adventure. All clues lead to intrigue, wit and surprise!

Little Women - The Musical

The Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild proudly presents this unforgettable Broadway musical based on Louisa May Alcott’s life and classic novel.

Little Women weaves together the adventures of sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March and their experience growing up in Civil War America. The timeless, captivating story is brought to life in this glorious musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope, and everlasting love.

ECCT Presents: "Sleeping Beauty"

The Eau Claire Children’s Theatre will present SLEEPING BEAUTY February 5-8, at the State Theatre in downtown Eau Claire.

When the king and queen of Never Nod have a new baby, Princess Briar-Rose, the witch Evilina sets a terrible curse on the poor young princess. Sixteen years later, it’s up to Prince Alexander to come to Briar-Rose’s rescue and the court’s too... the entire Kingdom is asleep!

Performances are scheduled for Thursday and Friday, February 5 & 6 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, February 7 at 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and Sunday, February 8 at 1:30 p.m. Reserved seating tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for seniors, $12 for students, and $8 for youth ages 12 and under.

ECCT Presents: "Murder at the Family Reunion"

The Eau Claire Children’s Theatre will present its 17th annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre January 23-31, 2015 at The Oxford, 1814 Oxford Avenue, Eau Claire.

This year’s show is “Murder at the Family Reunion.” It’s been years since the Montgomery Family has had a reunion (there may be a reason for that!), but they’re just dying to get together. This audience participation show serves up a delicious dinner with a little murder for dessert. See if your family is as dysfunctional as they are!

Performances are scheduled for Friday, January 23 and 30, and Saturday, January 24 and 31, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $28 per person and include dinner, dessert, and entertainment. A cash bar will be available. Reservations are due by Jan. 20 for the first weekend and Jan. 27 for the second weekend. Walk-in seating is not available.

Her awards include winning the New Folk competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival in 2000 with music that is described "as powerful as it is gentle." ECCT Presents "Disney's The Aristocats Kids"

Children participating in the Eau Claire Children’s Theatre’s Celebrate Summer with a Show class will present DISNEY’S THE ARISTOCATS KIDS on Thursday, June 21, and Friday, June 22, at The Oxford, 1814 Oxford Avenue, Eau Claire.

DISNEY’S ARISTOCATS KIDS is a musical is based on the classic Disney movie. When Madame’s jealous butler Edgar cat-naps Duchess and her kittens and abandons them in the Parisian countryside, what’s a cat to do? Luckily, Thomas O’Malley and his rag-tag bunch of Alley Cats come to their rescue.

Five performances are planned. On Thursday, June 21, shows are scheduled at 10:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. On Friday, two performances are planned for 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

General admission tickets are $5.00 each and will be available at the door.

The show is the first of three “By Kids, For Kids” productions scheduled this summer. The other shows planned are THE JUST SO STORIES on July 19-20 and HEE HAW HAYRIDE on August 4.
