Bottoms Up: Wisconsin’s Historic Bars and Breweries showcases the history, architecture and economics of Wisconsin’s breweries, bars and taverns, and explores the rich traditions that defined a culture that is uniquely Wisconsin.

As Bottoms Up: Wisconsin’s Historic Bars and Breweries visits the state’s distinctive taverns, it intersperses local history facts about the temperance movement, the economic effects of Prohibition on the brewing and tavern industry, the rise of the state’s big breweries, and the resurgence of microbreweries.
