The 23rd Annual Kevin Worrall Memorial Musky Classic

Pelican Lake-Rhinelander
The 23rd annual Kevin Worrall Memorial Musky Classic will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014, in memory of Kevin, who loved to fish. This tournament was a HUGE success last year in part to the sponsors, fishermen, and volunteers. There was an outstanding turn out with a total of 119 boats. The tournament netted $7,304 as a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House in Marshfield. This House provides temporary lodging for families of ill children using the Marshfield medical facilities. www.rmhc-marshfield.org

For more details of how you can get involved in this fishing tournament, contact Sherri and Gary

Carrie Wetterling Benefit

Wagner's Lanes 2159 Brackett Ave, Eau Claire Sunday August 24th 11am to 6pm Bowling Tournament from 11am to 3pm, Volleyball Tournament from 9am to 5pm, Vendor/Craft fair from 9am to 5pm
Friends, family, and co-workers are organizing a benefit for Carrie Wetterling, who was recently diagnosed with stage three Nodular Sclerosis Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and has started undergoing a courageous battle with chemotherapy. She is a dispatcher/operator at Gold Cross Answering service, which is a small, family owned company. There is no sick leave or disability benefits to help out in place of the hours and pay she is losing when she is sick from the treatments. We want to do what we can to help alleviate the financial burden this is causing, and give her the opportunity to just get well!

We are hosting a 9 pin tap bowling tournament, a volleyball tournament, craft/vendor fair, silent auction, number wheel drawings and 50/50 drawings...music, food and fun!

For more information, or to register for a tournament or for the craft/vendor fair...conact Kerrin Teigen, benefit coordinator
