Packer car. Packer boat. Packer basement.

One Jackson County man takes his love of the Pack above and beyond the average fan. Mick Hawley is a life-long Packer fan. However, his obsession with all things green and gold really got going about 15 years ago. Tuesday, it gave us a tour of “Lambeau West.”

His collection started slowly.

"I used to have the Packer room in one little room," Mick says.

But, it expanded fast and soon took over his entire basement.

"When I met my wife,” he explains. “My wife was a bigger Packer fan than I am!"

Mick has pictures, plates and pennants. He has an entire Packers wardrobe.

"I have to try and see my wife's side on things,” Mick tells us. “She says ‘I don't mind you wearing Packer apparel all through the season. But, when it’s all over and done with I want you to put your Packer stuff away and wear regular clothes’"

What about after a Super Bowl win—which Mick all but guarantees?

“Well not the day after,” he laughs. “Give me a week!"

Step outside his green and gold abode, and Mick has a couple sheds full of road and water-ready Packer pride.

"It feels good to drive it and knowing that other people see it and they appreciate it,” Mick says.

As for his Packer pontoon, it too gets lots of looks. And every now and then Mick takes his Hixton home on the road.

He once set up this replica living room just up the road from Lambeau.

"That’s what it's all about. We’re all Packer fans and I do my best to help out Wisconsin.”

But, turns out, even this Packer fanatic has his limits when it comes to what he’ll buy.

"I don't like black on Packers stuff. It has to be green, gold and white. Those are the colors it should be."

Because in the end, Mick says it's all about the guys suiting up on Sundays.

"It isn't so much what I have. I love Brett Favre and the Packers. For him to break all those records and I can just tell how he feels. It's like I’m part of the family, ya know."

Mick says his collection is only going to get bigger. He and his wife already have plans to expand to another room in their basement.

If you can't wait until Sunday for your Packer fix, coming up this Saturday we'll have a special half-hour show highlighting the Pack's amazing run to the NFC Championship Game. It's called "The Green Bay Packers: A Season of Dreams" and it's this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. right here on NewsCenter 13.
