Hypo Horses

There are several different horse breeds, now we're learning more about curly horses. And they're not just special because of their wavy hair, they're also proving to be hypo allergenic. In today's Wandering Wisconsin we head to Breezy B Ranch where there's no sneezy sneezy.

Melisa Davis, who owns the ranch says, "a lot of people refer to them as an antidepressant or a getaway, or soul mate.. their best friend."

"I'd come down here and my eyes would itch, they'd swell up, i'd get a runny nose, a cough."

"I just can focus on my horse and not worry about the reaction I'll have or run up to the house to grab my inhaler."

"They just don't believe it. They think it's not true. Well, I can walk up to my horse and stick my face in his fur and sniff and I get no reaction what so ever."

"I tell people, give me your address and I'll shave some hair off the horse, send it to you. You take it to the doctor, rub it on your wrist, get closer and closer to your face and you can see for yourself if you're allergic."

"You can come down here, complain up a storm and they're not going to argue back or anything. It's relaxing."
