The month of July has been a rainy one. Meteoroglists say Eau Claire got 7.7 inches of rain, and that's seven times the amount we got last July.
Farmers say all that rain has been great for their crops. One farmer said he got a three-week head start on planting. He says the only thing the rain has hindered is the baling of his hay.
Meteorologists say the average amount of rainfall in July is 3.9 inches.
