Dangerous cold finally losing it's grip

UPDATE: After another morning of dangerously cold conditions, temperatures are finally starting to warm back near the zero degree mark. The worst of this cold outbreak is now fading, but we will have another frigid night. Temperatures will dip down into the 10s to 20s below zero. There will continue to be a bit of a breeze overnight that could create wind chills between -25 to -40 degrees.

For that reason, a WIND CHILL ADVISORY is in effect through Noon Wednesday for the entire SkyWarn13 viewing area. Given the wind chills expected tonight into tomorrow morning, frostbite times could be between 15 to 30 minutes.
