Racine County declares state of emergency after rare tornado

Racine County has declared a state of emergency after a rare November tornado moved through the area.

Wisconsin Emergency Management says roughly 100 homes were damaged by the twister, which traveled more than 11 miles from Union Grove to Ives Grove in Racine County. A tornado also touched down in Walworth County on Monday night. At least four homes and four farm buildings were damaged. Some 3,000 people also lost power in the storm. At least two people were injured in traffic accidents related to the weather.
