Firefighters assess barn after it collapses in Cadott, due to high winds.

(WEAU)- Severe weather rolled through the western Wisconsin region causing widespread damage Tuesday night. There are multiple reports of downed trees and hail damage from Rice Lake to Trempealeau.

Denae sent us a photo of the large amount of hail that fell in the Trempealeau area. It appeared to be about the size of a quarter. Sarah in Greenwood caught a great shot of lighting, as the storm moved through Clark County. Nicole in Cornell took a picture of down trees in her area.

We've received multiple calls of downed trees and damage in Cornell, Bloomer, and in Jim Falls.
If you have any pictures of the storm damage near you that you'd like to share, please post them to our Facebook page.

In Cadott, a barn off of County Highway EE had its roof torn off after high wind hit the area. The barn almost completely collapsed.

On Tuesday, the Chippewa Falls Utility Emergency informed us that lanes were blocked on 140th St on Highway 124 Northbound and Southbound, due to downed trees and power lines.

On Wednesday morning, hundreds of people were still without power.
