Not only do fans boo at Philadelphia Eagles games, but also Punxsutawney Phil got booed. Why would someone boo a groundhog? Well, he made a controversial forecast.
Phil was taken from his den around 7:25 a.m. in Punxsutawney Pa(Western Pa). His caretakers told the crowd that the rodent saw many shadows and we would have six more weeks of winter. So why did the crowd boo? It was cloudy in western Pa and the only light came from TV cameras. About 18,000 people booed. Good thing Wisconsin has Sun Prairie Jimmy. He didn’t see his shadow and therefore an early spring.

The weather pattern in western Wisconsin does remind me of spring or syrup season, and the trend will continue over the next few days. Therefore I roll with Sun Prairie Jimmy! Either way, spring is 6 weeks away.
