Valentine's Day or Singles Awareness Day is not only difficult to find that perfect someone a great gift, but Mother Nature has a way changing your plans.

In 2008 from Feb 13th-15th we picked up 4.0" of snow and the low temp on Feb 15th was -13. Also snow fell on Valentine's Day in 2010 1.5" of snow.

In 1939 Eau Claire set a record high of 49, and La Crosse hit 56.

In 1951 Eau Claire hit -27 on Valentine’s Day morning.

Weather will not be an issue this year, and my advice, rather than red roses or chocolate try something different. Let's be honest. The roses will die and the chocolate will add extra calories.

Try these ideas, if the do not work, don't blame me. :)
Bowling, ice skating, a new hoyt bow, bird feeder, season 1 of 'Swamp People', a 243 Winchester, oil change, pure Wisconsin maple syrup, climbing tree stand, or an Eric Church cd. Good luck.
