Good Sunday Morning Sarah! I just want to thank you for once again another great showing of wj. The tribute/montage to our mothers was the best! My mom had no idea that I had sent the pics in, so when she viewed the show this morning, her face just lit up! She said that you always put a smile on her face, but today was an extra special one! =) So kudos to you and your helpers in making the wj possible!! All your hard and great work is appreciated! Thank you and Happy Mother's Day to all you moms!!

Blaine: the mill we feature on many of our graphics is Dells Mill, in Augusta, WI.

This show reminds me of a local version of "Sunday Morning". It is very interesting entertaining and also valuable to learn more about the Chippewa Valley and beyond in Wisconsin

where is the mill you have in your background?

Sarah, Thank you for mentioning the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center during your story on Ranison Ice Cream. Along with the four flavors of cranberry ice cream that Dave makes especially for us, we also feature some of his other flavors, including the Blue Moon ice cream you showed him making. I'm actually going to Ranison Ice Cream tomorrow (March 11) to pick up fresh ice cream. We are open Fridays and Saturdays during the winter months, but - with Easter being so early - we will expand our hours starting March 20 (the first day of spring!) and be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

So enjoy “Wisconsin Journal” – have a girlfriend hooked on it also. . .she’s so addicted that she TiVos it when she’s away from home. Love the variety of segments. We were both extremely fascinated by the magnificent quilt that Stacy Tamborino made – do you know if she displays her works at shows? Has there been word about the quilt being accepted at the Paducah show? The other intriguing show which comes to mind is the XMI – the tie factory in Chippewa. . . You’re always introducing us to venues that are so close to us, which we weren’t aware of. . .guess I might just have to explore a little more of west central Wisconsin! Thanks for providing the excellent programming. Clarice Franke Black River Falls, WI

Hi! I have enjoyed watching Wisconsin Journal. I especially liked the full story about the turkey farm in Mondovi. I hope to purchase a turkey for my next Thanksgiving in '08 from that family. Doing a really great job!! Thanks for all the other stories as well. One idea I had was maybe possibly talking with or interviewing the blind woman who is or was at one time a proffesor at UW-EC. She has as her companion a seeing eye dog. I would like to know more about her, and her dog. Give it some thought... and "Thanks" again for this one of a kind news program. Yours Truly, Stacey W.

We love the show - what a great way to celebrate Wisconsin's treasures! Keep it up Sarah - we look forward to the show every weekend. (One suggestion for the website - make it easier to find the recipes from show so we can try making those yummy delights!)

Patricia, Look toward the top of the Wisconsin Journal homepage, the page you were on to click on this story. The segments are listed in orange letters. Click on "morning mix" and you'll find every recipe we've had! I can sure email you them as well! Thanks for pointing this out! I know it can be hard to navigate some of these sites. Sincerely, Sarah Stokes

Tried to bring up your recipes for apple pie and coconut torte and can't do it. Maybe make it easier or more instruction?

I love you Sarah! You are beautiful and always so happy and so real. The News Center 13 staff would not be the same without you. You and Chris doing the news together on the night of the 10th was awsome. I just hope you keep doing exactly what your doing. You are special to many people and to me. Thank you for ALWAYS making me smile! I watch your show every week end. I can't wait until you get to do an hour long show!! Hint hint. Hope to see that soon.
