With most golf courses covered in snow across the Chippewa Valley when will the first ball land on snow free fairway? Not any time soon. Temperatures over the next few days the afternoon highs will be in the low to mid 40’s which is below average for this time of year. The good news is with all the snow on the ground and with limited frost in the ground a slow melt is perfect for ground water and soil moisture. A slow melt will lead to greener fairways in June.
