Consecutive "nice" days have been pretty hard to come by so far this spring. We've had a couple of days with mild temperatures that always seem to be followed by a quick cool down to highs in the 40s and 50s. Well, it seems that we might be able to break that streak this week, as high temps are slated to climb into the 70s on Tuesday and then into the low to mid 60s for the rest of the workweek. Keep in mind that our average high for this time of the year is 67, so we'll still be cooler than average for most of the week. But even so, an extended stretch with highs in the 60s is a welcome change.
Cool weather will make a return in the not-too-distant future, however. The way things are looking right now, temps will be held to the mid to upper 50s for afternoon highs by the weekend and into early next week. A lot can change in the forecast between now and then, so let's hope we'll be able to bump those numbers up before we get to Saturday.
