Those thunderstorms on Tuesday had one goal in mind-drench the towns, keep everyone awake with thunder, set off a couple tornado/severe thunderstorm warnings, move on. Stinkers. The clouds continued into Wednesday morning, but they broke by the afternoon giving us sunshine and seasonable temperatures in the 60's. Finishing off the week, the clouds will be in and out of the office. A few of them will attempt to ring out some showers on Friday, however I think the air will be too dry for any raindrops to reach the ground. Good news.
Bad news. Some clouds want to settle over us this weekend. That means temperatures are going to drop back into the 50's. Sunday will be the best chance to see any rain showers. Once the rain shows up, the mercury will have a real hard time making it out of the low 50's. But I remain optimistic, hopefully we'll see highs in the mid/upper 50's, instead of upper 40's/low 50's! It's still Spring, so it's not uncommon to have one day of 70's, 3 in the 50's, and 2 in the 60's. Bring on the summer heat!
