Saturday afternoon featured abundant sunshine and temperatures in th e middle 80s. We'll keep the sun around for the next few days, but it is going to become much warmer and windier for the remainder of our Labor Day weekend & Labor Day itself.
Temperatures topped out at 100 degrees Saturday afternoon in Bismarck, ND. It won't be that warm in Western Wisconsin Sunday afternoon, but highs will top out in the upper 80s to low 90s. It will also become somewhat windy Sunday afternoon, so if you have any loose objects in your yard that you don't want blowing around, it may be a prudent decision to go and pick them up.
Although the air temperature on Labor Day will be similar to that of Sunday afternoon, dew-point temperatures (another reason why they are important to you) will be notably higher, so it is going to feel much more sticky outside, and heat indicies will likely soar into the low and middle 90s. With that said, be sure to stay hydrated if you plan on spending parts of your Labor Day outside. It will also remain windy, with winds possible gusting to around 30 mph at times.
Have a safe Labor Day weekend & remember to drink plenty of fluids!
