MADISON, Wis. (WSAW) - Former Wisconsin starting quarterback Jack Coan announced via Twitter that he is transferring to Notre Dame to finish his football career.
Wisconsin plays Notre Dame at Soldier Field on Sept. 25.
Coan entered the transfer portal in December after missing the entire 2020 football season due to a broken foot.
During his time with the Badgers, Coan started 18 games. He threw for 3,278 yards and 13 touchdowns. Coan wrapped up his career with a 12-6 record while wearing the cardinal and white.
Coan will compete for the starting job at Notre Dame with the Irish’s star quarterback, Ian Book, heading to the NFL.
