Eau Claire Community Foundation celebrates 25th anniversary

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - The Eau Claire Community Foundation is celebrating their 25th anniversary with a year of fundraising opportunities for local nonprofits.

ECCF members announced the foundation would be rolling out a new online grant catalog that will help nonprofits raise money through crowd-funding.

The online catalog will be open for donations between July 2021 and May 2022 with four specific giving categories.

July 2021- Create Culture- visual and performing arts, museums, literature

October 2021- Form Futures- education and training

February 2022- Give Green- animals, fitness and the environment

April 2022- Offer Opportunities- basic needs such as food, shelter and medical care.

The top three fundraisers in each of the four categories will receive bonus grants.

First place- $10,000. Second place- $7,000. Third place- $5,000. All other applicants who raise at least $1,000 will be entered into a random drawing for three $1,000 bonus grants.
