Infant taken into custody, 2 accused of using illegal drugs with 11-month-old in vehicle

VERNON COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office says an 11-month-old was taken into custody after two people were accused of using illegal drugs with the infant in the vehicle.
Officials say they got a report of the incident on June 2. At 3:52 p.m., the vehicle was located driving north on State Highway 27 south of the Monroe County line.
The driver was identified as Jordan Olson, 30 from Cashton, and the passenger was identified as Destiny Stussy, 25 from Cashton.
Law enforcement found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and the infant was taken into protective custody.
The incident is still under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
