Man arrested for urinating inside theater during ‘Demon Slayer’ movie, police say

SURPRISE, Ariz. (KPHO/Gray News) — A man in Arizona is facing multiple charges after authorities said he urinated inside a movie theater Friday night.

Police in Surprise, Arizona, said officers responded to a call for a disturbance at AMC Surprise Pointe 14 on Litchfield Road.

Witnesses at the theater told officers moviegoers had confronted a man who they said peed inside the theater during a showing of the new “Demon Slayer” movie.

The suspect, identified as Limil Hull, was arrested and booked on charges of indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, criminal damage and refusing to provide a truthful name.

The man who took the video of the incident said Hull stood up, unzipped his pants and began peeing. Hull then sat down as if nothing had happened.

The man said AMC was very accommodating of the disruption and gave everyone a refund, the opportunity to continue the film in a different theater and free snacks.

Hull was released on his own recognizance after his initial court appearance.
