Mother accused of kicking 13-year-old player during youth football game

FORT MYERS, Fla. (CNN) – A Florida woman is facing charges after allegedly kicking a 13-year-old football player on the opposing team Saturday.

Video of Saturday’s altercation on the field, shot by a high school student, allegedly shows Renee Lambert kicking a 13-year-old player after the 34-year-old “storms the field.”

Police body camera video shows Lambert arguing with Lee County deputies as they arrested her.

Lambert faces charges of resisting an officer and cruelty to a child.

The Fort Myers Falcons youth football organization said Lambert is now permanently banned from all its events and activities.
