Eau Claire’s Northern Lite pilot program to end Friday

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - The city of Eau Claire is announcing it will conclude its Northern Lite microtransit pilot program this Friday.

According to the city of Eau Claire, Northern Lite launched in July 2025 as a one-year pilot program.

The city says throughout the pilot, riders were able to book curb-to-curb trips through the Northern Lite app or by phone.

According to the city, Northern Lite service will end at the close of business on Friday, July 3, 2026.
