INTERVIEW: Celebrating Fiber Art

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -Pamm Spooner sat down with us to discuss the importance of celebrating fiber art. There is currently a fiber art exhibition on display at the Heyde Center.

It will be there till November 18th. There is also a special artist reception this Sunday, October 25th from noon to 3pm. There you can learn how the art is made and even watch a wearable art fashion show.

The Valley Fiber Artists’ mission includes the elevation of the use of fiber as a fine art and to make the community aware of the broad spectrum of textiles and fiber.
