Bob Gallaher

Bob is now in his 29th year at WEAU, currently is the Hello Wisconsin weekday morning anchor. He came to WEAU 13 News in 1994 as the Weekend Sports Anchor & Reporter. He took over Sports Director duties in 1998, and held that role until 2014 when he transitioned to news. He then anchored the 6 & 10 pm newscasts until 2021.

During that time, Bob has had the opportunity to cover Super Bowls, Rose Bowls, NCAA Final Four, college and prep sports. His “A Look Inside” news features on Hello Wisconsin have earned Emmy-nominated recognition.

Bob grew up in Clarendon Hills, Illinois. He graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with a Broadcast Journalism degree in 1990.

Bob is an avid Chicago sports fan including the Cubs and Bears and a huge Marquette Golden Eagles basketball fan. He and his wife Colleen, are proud parents of a beautiful daughter, Mary Kate.
