A native of Cadott, Wis., Jimmie joined the WEAU 13 News team in 2021. Prior to his time at WEAU, Jimmie served as the digital lead for iHeartMedia/iHeartRadio in Milwaukee, Madison, Eau Claire, and other markets. During his radio career in Eau Claire, Jimmie hosted a daily sports talk program and called UW-Eau Claire, UW-Stout, and area high school games as Sports, Program, and Digital Director for WBIZ-AM and WMEQ-AM. He still calls games and events in sports and eSports, primarily in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois. When he was 7 years old, Jimmie took a tour of WEAU and generously offered assistance to a bewildered meteorologist during a live broadcast.
