Melanie is originally from Pickett, Wis. She started part-time at WEAU in September 2022 as a reporter and came on full-time in February 2023.
Melanie is currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where she is majoring in Journalism and Integrated Strategic Communications. She is in her final semester at UWEC and is excited to finally graduate in May.
If she's not busy reporting, you can likely find her exploring around Lake Wissota or enjoying the nightlife Eau Claire has to offer.
