The Infection Preventionist we are seeking is an innovative thinker with the background to handle this important role. You will deploy all necessary Best Practices to reduce infection risks for patients, visitors, and staff, including surveillance of significant infections and data management. You will also develop and deliver infection control educational programs.
The qualified candiatate will be a graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program with successful experience as a Registered Nurse within the previous three years. You may also qualify with a bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, medical technology, clinical laboratory science, microbiology, epidemiology, or public health.
