5 P.M. INTERVIEW: Clearwater Revue

By  |

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Clearwater Revue, a benefit to end homelessness in Eau Claire. This concert/variety show features 12 local acts, including the North High School Marching Band, Memorial High School Jazz Choir, UWEC Jazz Ensemble, UWEC Vocal Ensemble, local comedians, musicians, break dancers, actors and authors. Emceed by John Murphy from Mid-West Family Broadcasting.

This event is organized primarily by community volunteers who started working with us after Western Dairyland and Family Promise lost a significant amount of federal funding. We're currently working to make up a $270,000 funding shortfall through local foundations and fundraising efforts. All proceeds from this event will be used to provide services for homeless families in Eau Claire.
