EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)— The first ever O'Claire Irish Festival will be held March 16 at North High School.
News Release:
"O'Claire Irish Festival" - Bringing the Chippewa Valley together to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and all things Irish! This Free Family Friendly event will be on March 16th, 2019 at North High School! The Festival starts at 3pm and will end with an amazing Irish Dance Show at 6pm, by Janelle’s School of Irish Dance.
There will be vendors, fun activities for kids, fire trucks and police cars, food, a silent auction, raffles and prizes, balloons and face painting, coloring and limerick competitions, music, and more!
There will also be demonstrations/presentations every half hour! You will have the opportunity to learn, enjoy music, and a chance to try your hand at a harp, and your feet at some Irish dancing!
3:30 – Celtic harp by O’Meara Music
4:00 – Irish dance demo
4:30 – Irish bagpipes
5:00 – Irish heritage presentation
5:30 – Uilleann pipe and penny whistle
6:00 – An AMAZING Irish dance show by Janelle’s School of Irish Dance

About O'Claire Irish Festival
This cultural event will allow the Eau Claire area access to the second largest heritage group in Wisconsin, the IRISH, and could bring up to 10,000 Irish residents in Eau Claire out of the cold to celebrate with a jig and fun.
