Bark in the Park July 9 with the Eau Claire Express

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Dogs are invited to the Eau Claire Express baseball game on Monday, July 9 as part of "Bark in the Park" at Carson Park.

Dog tickets were $3 with all proceeds going to the National Canine Cancer Foundation, which helps fund research toward prevention, cures, and better treatment for canine cancer.

According to the foundation, one out of every three dogs will get cancer.

Check-in for Bark in the Park with the Express and emBARK begins at 5 p.m.

Around 6 p.m., WEAU's Danielle Wagner will lead a dog parade around the field.

Then, the Eau Claire Express game begins at 6:35 p.m.

This year's event will also feature the Eau Claire County Humane Association and a K9 demonstration.

Tickets are $9 for you and $3 for your dog. You can get tickets online now. To get the special $3 dog tickets, (with money going to the foundation) you must use the passcode “Dog Ticket.”

There can only be one dog per person, and your dog must be at least six months old and up-to-date on vaccinations.
