EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- If you're struggling to feed your pet, the Eau Claire County Humane Association has a community pet pantry that can help.

Executive Director Shelley Janke says the pantry currently has cat and dog food available for pet owners. She says hundreds of families have already participated.

The pet food pantry is open six days a week during regular hours at the Ea Claire County Humane Association.

She says all of the food being given away is donated, and families can come on a free-will basis.

"You can take what you need for your pets, we just ask people to take what they will use and leave some for the next person that might need it," says Shelley Janke.

The pantry is located in the parking lot at 3900 Old Town Hall Rd.
The humane association is also accepting donations if you'd like to help the food pantry.

You can drop it off outside the door during non business hours.
