EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)- As temperatures get warmer, a lot of people will be heading outside. So why not step outside to support families affect by muscular dystrophy in Wisconsin?
A new walk is coming to Eau Claire and Friday morning, Anya Moran, a development specialist with MDA, joins us to talk about how it'll impact area families.
The MDA Muscle Walk will be held at Carson Park on May 19th. There will be a 3K walk for all ages and abilities, including a wheelchair and equipment friend course. The event goes to support nearly 70 families in western Wisconsin. It starts at 10 a.m. under the Oak Pavilion. Organizers hope to raise $11,000.
