The Chippewa Valley Habitat for Humanity (CVH4H) is launching its “Let’s Build Together” campaign for Eau Claire.

Two homes will be built in the Eau Claire area. The first one starting in July and the 2nd home will start when funding is secured.

CVHFH is looking for Home Sponsors and volunteers to build the home.

Volunteers can be work groups, individuals, church groups, etc.

Financial sponsors can be anyone, businesses, individuals, civic groups, churches, etc

Habitat is not a hand out but a hand up. All Habitat home owners have to put in 400 hours of sweat equity helping build their home with the volunteers or help with another Habitat home. They also have a 0 interest loan, but the loan is much lower because house is built mostly by volunteers. It gives families with lower incomes the chance to own a home, where they probably couldn’t before.
