NOON INTERVIEW: Eau Claire Heart Walk

Hundreds are expected at the annual Eau Claire Heart Walk September 21 at Carson Park.
News Release:
Join the American Heart Association and hundreds of Eau Claire residents who are walking for healthier hearts at the 2019 Eau Claire Heart Walk on Saturday, September 21st at Carson Park.
Heart disease survivors, stroke survivors, families and volunteers will come together for the American Heart Association’s largest annual community event. The event is free; however, donations are encouraged. Everyone is welcome!
Andrew Bagnall, president and CEO of HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital, is this year’s Heart Walk chair. “Local organizations in our community are coming together to support this walk, which brings awareness and raises funds for heart disease research,” said Bagnall. “Unfortunately, both heart disease and stroke continue to be a significant health issue and most of us know someone who has been affected. We are working to change that reality.”
The Eau Claire Area Heart Walk is proudly sponsored by HSHS Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s hospitals, Mayo Clinic Health System and Marshfield Clinic Health System. Also sponsoring are Prevea Health, Group Health Cooperative and American Family Insurance. In-kind sponsors include RCU, Festival Foods and WEAU-TV.
