National Assisted Living Week Sept 10-16

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Currently, around one million Americans live in some type of senior living community, and that number is expected to double by the year 2030, according to the American senior communities. This week is National Assisted Living Week!

Gina Hudecek, the Community Relations Director and Kelly Deutscher from Heatherwood Assisted Living and Memory Care in Eau Claire and Nikki from Bob's House for Dogs joined the show for details.

The week goes from Sept 10-16. Today for $1 for every single scoop cone and tips will be donated to Bob's House for Dogs.

HeatherWood is situated near the Highway 53 and Interstate 94 interchange in southeast Eau Claire. You can see the Eau Claire County Dog Park from our dining room and hop a quick ride over to the Oakwood Mall or the Eau Claire Golf and Country Club.
