Postcards from the Past Dunn County - July 13th

MENOMONIE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A piece of history is coming to life thanks to a local author and now you have a chance to experience the adventure.

Author David Tank joined Hello Wisconsin joined more about his latest book called postcards from the past Dunn County
as well as his upcoming booking signing

David says, “I have a brand new "Postcards from the Past" book out. This time it includes then and now pictures of Dunn County, which is a companion volume to last year's "Postcards from the past-Menomonie." This new book includes 50 pairs of then/now photos from the smaller towns in the county, such as Boyceville and Colfax, as well as new shots of Menomonie that weren't included in the first book.

There will be a book signing with David on Thursday, July 14, from 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at the Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts.

Both the Dunn County and Menomonie books are available in Eau Claire at the local store and Chippewa Valley Museum. In Menomonie they're at bookends on main,Mabel Tainter Gift Shop, and Rassbach Heritage Museum. They can also be purchased at

Tank says, “This summer I am working on "Postcards from the Past-Eau Claire " and "Postcards from the Past- Fond du Lac," which I expect to have completed next fall.”
