EAU CLAIRE & LA CROSSE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Carl is a cuddler! He's a one-year-old lab mix who's currently living in a foster home in La Crosse.
Carl had a rough start in life so he can be shy at first, but once he's comfortable he has a fun-loving personality.
His foster family with Last Paw Rescue says he is relaxed in the house, is potty trained, and politely greets any guests.
As you can see, Carl walks nicely on a leash.
He would love a home where is the only dog or possibly a home with a calm female dog. Male dogs make him nervous because he has been bitten by a male dog. He gets scared of sudden movements and loud noises when he doesn't know you, so a home with younger kids & their friends would not be a comfortable match.
Carl weighs about 45 pounds and hopes to find his new and happy home soon.

Sassy bounced around to different houses before coming to live at Bob's House for Dogs, and staff say they don't know why because she is a wonderful dog!
She is full of kisses, she is potty trained, and staff at Bob's House say she is just a joy!
Sassy would prefer to be an only dog in the house, or in a home with other laid-back dogs.
