WAGNER TAILS: Melvin and Mina

EAU CLAIRE & ONALASKA, Wis. (WEAU) -- Meet Melvin!

Melvin's about six years old.

He has an adorable stubby tail that makes him an even more unique companion.

He can be timid in new situations, but once he's comfortable, he'll show you how much he loves you more and more each day!

Staff at the Coulee Region Humane Society say he absolutely loves attention from his favorite people and will even sleep in bed with you.

Melvin did well with a medium-sized dog in his foster home, and he should do well with other calm pets if introduced properly.

Since he can be shy at first, Melvin would prefer a quieter home with older children.

This beautiful cat would enjoy a mellow home with a big window to lounge in while bird watching.

Up for adoption at the Eau Claire County Humane Association is a smart girl who's eager to learn more!

Mina is a three-year-old large mix breed.

Mina was surrendered to ECCHA because her previous owner did not have enough time to care for her.

Unfortunately, this means that Mina is still working on some basic obedience training including walking on a leash, jumping up and house training.

Mina spent a large part of her life living outdoors, and she often finds it hard to come inside.

She prefers smelling the fresh air, listening to the birds and exploring her surroundings.

She is a staff favorite at ECCHA, and they have no doubt with a bit of patience and love, Mina will grow into the perfect companion.
