WAGNER TAILS: Sanderson and Sadiki

EAU CLAIRE & ONALASKA, Wis. (WEAU) -- At the Eau Claire County Humane Association, Sanderson is dressed and ready to go trick-or-treating tonight as a gingerbread man!

He's a young cat who loves toys. His favorites include wand toys, balls and anything he can chase.

Sanderson would do well in an active home with other playmates.
October 27 through November 3 is Black Cat Appreciation Week at the Eau Claire County Humane Association.

All black or black and white cats have a discounted adoption fee of just $5.

A black and white cat available for adoption is Sadiki.

She is one of the longest residents at the Coulee Region Humane Society, and to help Sadiki find her home -- there is no adoption fee!
Sadiki is about six years old.

She previously spent time in foster care raising her kittens, but they've all been adopted and it's Sadiki's turn to find a home of her own!

She's a shy girl but enjoys attention from her favorite people when she's comfortable.

She is fearful of loud noises and sudden movements, so she would prefer a quieter home.

Sadiki especially loves younger cats and kittens, and would love living in a home with another cat and a home with lots of windows to bird watch!
