One person died at Osceola Medical Center after a crash happened in Polk County on Wednesday.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office says two cars crashed head-on on State Highway 35, north of 1st Street in the village of Dresser.

One driver was taken to Osceola Medical Center due to critical injuries and died. The other driver and occupants were taken to a New Richmond hospital. They suffered non-life threatening injuries.
