SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) -- The funeral for fallen firefighter Cory Barr will be held on Saturday, July 14th at the Sun Prairie High School.
According to the Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial, there will be a private visitation at the Tuschen Newcomer Funeral Home on Friday.
Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Department announced a remembrance for Captain Barr will be held at the Sun Prairie High School main entrance at 888 Grove St. between 8 - 10 a.m on Saturday.
The remembrance will be followed by a service for family, friends and all emergency personnel at 11 a.m.
Captain Barr died from his injuries after responding to an explosion in downtown Sun Prairie on Tuesday, July 10th. Barr was a firefighter for 15 years.
Barr was the captain of the Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Department and owner of The Barr House.
