FALL CREEK, Wis. (WEAU) -- Area students are helping community members stay warm this winter season.

Eighth graders at Fall Creek Middle School made 50 blankets for the Augusta Nursing Home as part of their service project.

Wednesday, the students delivered the blankets. The students say it's a rewarding feeling to give back to their community.

“It felt really good because a lot of them were laughing and smiling, it felt good about it,” said 8th grader Cora Vircks.”

The students say it took about a month to make all the blankets.
