LADYSMITH, Wis. (WEAU) -- A former meth user is speaking about addiction and recovery Monday, February 4 in Rusk county.
The event is being held at the Miner Theatre in Ladysmith.
A free meal will be served at 5:45, followed by the presentation at 6:30 featuring Matt Jablonsky.
Jablonsky is originally from Rusk County and now lives in Whitewater.
He used meth for 13 years, but has been clean for two years.
He'll speak about his addiction and recovery and the struggles he faces.
The mayor of Ladysmith started a GoFundMe page to have Jablonsky speak to students during the day and community members at night.
