Altoona to start a farmers market

ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU) -- A farmers market is coming soon to Altoona.

City Administrator Mike Golat says Altoona is looking to host a farmers market later this month. Golat says they're looking to target the evening market as people are getting off work.

He says the first farmers market will be held on Monday, July 23 at the Outdoor Plaza starting at 4 p.m. and running until 7 p.m.

He says the farmers market will run throughout the summer and into the fall.
